The sequel to Sylvester Stallone‘s action hit 'The Expendables' will continue and the release date for the second installment is now set for August 17, 2012.
Lionsgate is reportedly still looking for the right director for the sequel. Stallone previously expressed that he is very much interested in signing Bruce Willis again to be the super villain.
The first Expendables reached a worldwide gross of $274,468,52 on a budget of $80 million.
