Checkout the fist photo of Bane -- Batman's nemesis played by Tom Hardy in the upcoming film, "The Dark Knight Rises"!

Bane is a more powerful and intelligent foe of Batman who became abnormally strong after being pumped full of drugs.

This will be Christopher Nolan's third film in the franchise and reprising the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman is Christian Bale.

The Dark Knight Rises is due out July 20, 2012.

"The Dark Knight Rises" to shoot in Pittsburgh!

Christopher Nolan found the right place to shoot the explosive scenes for the upcoming "The Dark Knight Rises" --- the caped crusader and Nolan will be invading Pittsburgh!

"Pittsburgh is a beautiful city," Nolan says in a statement. "We have been able to find everything we were looking for here, and I am excited to spend the summer in Pittsburgh with our final installment of Batman."

Already attached to this new installment are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy and Christian Bale, who will reprise his role as Batman.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Alberto Falcone in The Dark Knight Rises

Holiday will never be the same!

Inception star Joseph Gordon-Levitt will bring terror in Gotham City as he is now cast in the upcoming Christopher Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises”.

According to Variety, Gordon-Levitt will play Alberto Falcone aka The Holiday Killer, the son of Mafia chieftain Carmine Falcone, the character Tom Wilkinson played in "Batman Begins."

Juno Temple is being eyed for ”a supporting role as a street-smart Gotham girl.”

Gordon-Levitt will joined his "Inception" co-star Tom Hardy along with Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale.

"The Dark Knight Rises" is set for release on July 20, 2012.
